Carlos Alberto Larrieu
Co-Founder | Chief Operations Officer
Carlos Alberto Larrieu is a seasoned construction executive with over two decades of experience delivering high-profile residential and commercial projects across South Florida. As Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of AltaForma Group, Carlos leads all aspects of project execution, field operations, and construction management—ensuring that every build meets the company’s high standards of quality, efficiency, and integrity.
Carlos holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Florida International University, where he developed the technical foundation and project leadership skills that have shaped his professional journey. He began his career in superintendent roles at Poinciana Homes and Suncoast Contracting, gaining hands-on experience in site supervision, residential builds, and subcontractor coordination. These early roles instilled in him the values of discipline, precision, and craftsmanship that remain at the core of his leadership approach.
Carlos spent over 12 years at OHLA USA (formerly OHL Arellano), where he rose to the position of Senior Project Manager. In this capacity, he led the successful execution of large-scale infrastructure and institutional projects—including hospitals, schools, and government facilities—managing diverse teams and navigating complex regulatory and logistical challenges. His ability to deliver results under pressure earned him recognition as a trusted leader in the field.
Following his tenure at OHLA, Carlos joined MAST Capital, where he spent nearly seven years as a Construction Manager. At MAST, he oversaw multimillion-dollar developments from preconstruction through completion, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and ownership to ensure seamless delivery. His leadership contributed to some of the region’s most prominent developments, strengthening his reputation for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
With a builder’s mindset and a deep understanding of field operations, Carlos co-founded AltaForma Group to offer a modern and values-driven approach to construction. He is passionate about creating thoughtful, well-executed spaces and brings operational excellence to every project. From luxury residential builds to complex commercial developments, Carlos leads with a steady hand and a commitment to elevating industry expectations.

Together with his sister and co-founder Silvia Larrieu, he is honoring their family’s legacy in the industry by building a company grounded in trust, excellence, and lasting impact—one project at a time.

Silvia Larrieu brings over 15 years of leadership in business development, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, with a proven track record of driving growth and enhancing brand reputation across industries. As President and Co-Founder of AltaForma Group, Silvia leads the company’s strategic direction, client relations, and brand development—shaping a values-driven business rooted in excellence, transparency, and trust.
Silvia holds a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from the University of Miami. Her academic background in global business and entrepreneurship has equipped her with a forward-thinking, agile approach to leadership—skills that have guided her across complex corporate and community landscapes.
Before founding AltaForma, Silvia served as SVP, Business Development Director at Amerant Bank, where she launched initiatives that expanded market share across Consumer, Commercial, and International Banking. She spearheaded strategic partnerships in the Sports & Entertainment sectors, driving growth in niche markets and elevating the bank’s presence within the entertainment industry.
Previously, Silvia served as SVP, Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of Community Relations at Amerant, where she oversaw high-profile branding and philanthropic campaigns. Her efforts included securing naming rights to Amerant Bank Arena and forging partnerships with the Miami HEAT and Florida Panthers.
Earlier in her career, Silvia held senior positions at the Miami Herald, including Sr. Director of Development & Partnerships. There, she led corporate strategy, grant development, and community programming across Florida markets—launching revenue-generating initiatives such as the Americas Conference® Series and the Silver Knight Awards, which became pillars of civic engagement and brand visibility.
A respected community leader, Silvia serves as Vice-Chair of the FIU CasaCuba Leadership Advisory Council and is an active board member of Overtown Youth Center Miami, Mosaic Miami, and the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Alumnae Council. Recognized as both a “Rockstar” and “Rising Star” by Miami Women Who Rock, Silvia brings passion, purpose, and proven leadership to every endeavor. At AltaForma, she channels her extensive experience into building a company that honors her family legacy while driving meaningful impact across every project.
